Professional Career: K. Menoudakos served as judge at the Council of State from his appointment in 1972 until his retirement in 2013 as President of the Council of State. He was the supervisor of the legal office of the General Secretariat of the Government (1998-2001), member of the Board of Directors of the National Centre for Public Administration (1985-1989 & 1995-2001) and President of the Central Codification Committee. He taught for five years at the National School of Judges (Director of Studies 1994-1996, General Director 1996-1999). His articles have been published in various legal publications regarding matters of constitutional law, environmental law and urban planning. He is President of the Scientific Society for Urban Plannng Law and the Society for the study of Technology and Construction Law0, as well as member of the Institue for Administrative Studies and the Hellenic Society of Judicial Officers for Democracy and Freedoms (to which he was President during 1998-2007). He is President of the Hellenic Data Protection Authority. He is a certified mediator by the Ministry of Justice and Chairman of the EODID Supervisory Board.
