Professional Career: M. Margaritis served as a judge for four decades, retiring as judge at the Supreme Court. He is a member of the Society for Judicial Studies and partner of the Hellenic Forensic Psychiatry Society and the Forensic Psychiatry Society of Northern Greece. During the academic years 2006-2009 he taught criminal law at the senior students of the Police Academy (School of Lieutenants). He has participated in various legal textbooks in matters of penal code, civil and penal procedure code, narcotics, forensic psychology. His legal comments have been published in legal magazines. He is a certified mediator by the Ministry of Justice and member of the EODID Arbitration Board.
