Professional Career: On July 3, 1996 I was hired as a lawyer, at the Secretariat of the Competition Commission, where I handled the preparation of a series of Papers on behalf of the Secretariat and the drafting of several proposals regarding resources against decisions of the Competition Commission which were discussed before the Administrative Court of Appeal of Athens. From March 1997 to March 1999 I held the position of legal advisor at the Ministry of Development (General Secretariat of Commerce Ministry of Development), while from March 1999 to May 2000, I held the position of legal advisor at the Ministry of Public Order. In my former position I’ve cooperated closely with the Ministers for Banking Insolvency issues, consumer protection inter alia, while in the latter position I’ve been reviewing EU public procurement rules etc. Since December 2000, until today, I hold the position of legal advisor and manager on judicial affairs at “Greek Post SA” (ELTA), while from May 2002 until June 2003 I participated to the Permanent Legislative Committee of the Ministry of Public Order. Y the Rector Act no. A 8810/4.7.2005, I was appointed as Lecturer in Business and Labor Law in the Faculty of Law of the Democritus University of Thrace, in the field of Commercial Law, and as a faculty member I have been teaching at both graduate and prostgraduate level – on the aforementioned field – and I have been involved in the administrative tasks conferred by the sector. Furthermore, in June 2011 I was appointed as a General Secretary on Strategic and Private Investments for almost 4 years, at the Ministry of Development and
Competitiveness (currently named as Ministry of Economy), where I handled Development Law’s Issues, Investments’ Files etc.
