Professional Career: M.T Marinos is a member of the University of Thessaloniki faculty since 1989. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Society for Energy Law, of the Union for commercial law practitioners, of the German – Hellenic Union of legal professionals and a teacher at the National School of Judges since 2005. He has participated in numerous law drafting committees, for example on trademark law, company law, intellectual property law and the transposition of Directive 2014/943. He served as a member of the Competition Committee from 2003 to 2006. His research comprises domestic and international publications (German, English) in corporate law, competition law, bankruptcy law, European intellectual property law, distribution law and public construction law. He has participated in four collective works and has organized and coordinated another three collective works. He has authored four textbooks on: distinctive signs law (2016), unfair competition law (2015), patent law (2013).
