Professional Career: I. Tentes served as a judge for four decades and retired in 2013 as a General Attorney of the Supreme Court. Following his retirement as a judge, he held the independent position of the National Anti-corruption Coordinator, where he remained until its repeal by law in March 2015. He is a founding member and Chairman of the Family Law Society, member of the Union of Greek Procedure Law Practitioners (member of the Board of Directors 1998-2009), of the Society for Judicial Studies, as well as founding member of the Hellenic – German Jurist Society and the Institute of International and European Criminal Law. For a number of years (1998-2000) he was member of the Central law Drafting Committee and he also participated in special law drafting committees of the Ministry of Justice. During 2000-2003 he taught at the National School of Judges the courses Law of compensation for traffic accidents and Special Matters in Commercial Law (trademark, patent, competition law). He is a certified mediator by the Ministry of Justice and Deputy Chair of EODID Supervisory Board.
